My name is Drew Shelburne, and I’m a graphic designer from Denver, Colorado who came to the fine arts a little later in life—but my background in music has shaped me into a creator with a strong sense of rhythm, structure, and workflow.
I approach every project with thorough research so I can understand the problem deeply and design a final piece that communicates its message with clarity and purpose. Because my introduction to visual art was through photography, my sense of color, form, and composition is rooted in a photographer’s eye, and that perspective heavily influences the way I build layouts.
I’m driven by problem-solving and the challenge of turning ideas into visual solutions, and design matters to me because it’s one of the most practical, communicative art forms—it serves people directly.
